Department of Facilitation


The purpose of the activity
The purpose of the Department of Facilitation is to control the quality of passenger, baggage, cargo and mail services, control over the availability of certain types of services at airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as control of documents regulating the rules of air transportation through the Department of Facilitation.

Mission:
Ensuring high quality standards of passenger, baggage, cargo and mail service at airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Tasks:
  • Participation in the development of regulatory legal acts regulating the regulation of air transportation and civil aviation activities;
  • Introduction of amendments and proposals to improve existing legislative acts on the development of civil aviation activities;
  • Implementation of measures to coordinate and improve air transportation;
  • Improving the quality of passenger service;
  • Timely response to requests from passengers regarding the quality of service and availability of services at airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Taking measures on the availability of services at airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Monitoring and administration of the "e-Freight" information system;
  • Introduction of advanced and innovative technologies in the field of passenger service (self-registration, baggage check-in, mobile applications).

Functions: 
Taking measures to improve and improve the technology of passenger service, baggage handling, mail and cargo;
Consideration of complaints and claims from passengers, senders and recipients of cargo and mail related to the activities of the Department of Facilitation;
Control and supervision of compliance of air carriers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign air carriers with the requirements imposed when performing air traffic;
Participation in certification surveys, random and unscheduled inspections as part of the structural departments of the Administration;
Participation in the inspections of the programs of the AUC (Aviation Training Center) within the competence of the Department of Facilitation;
Interaction with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on issues related to the activities of the Department; Interaction with foreign and Kazakh airlines operating flights to/from the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues related to the activities of the Department of Facilitation ;
Implementation of quality control and timely provision of cargo information in the "e-Freight" system;
Monitoring compliance of the "e-Freight" system with international standards and internal regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Department of Facilitation is pleased to cooperate on the development of culture and quality of passenger, mail, cargo and baggage services with both airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with domestic and international airlines operating in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
