Operations Center

An Operational Center operates on the basis of JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan".

The main functions of the Operations Center are

• registration of reports on events received from participants of the civil aviation industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• maintaining a database of logged reports and events.

Based on the results of the received information, the center compiles a database and uses it as part of the control and supervision of civil aviation entities.

The center itself operates in accordance with Article 10 of the Law "On the Use of the Airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Aviation Activities" dated July 15, 2010 No. 339-IV. The provisions of which state that the monitoring and analysis of the activities of individuals and legal entities to ensure flight safety and aviation security, as well as in order to implement recommendations based on the results of the investigation of accidents and incidents, are carried out on the basis of information, documents and materials provided by individuals and legal entities to an authorized organization in the field of civil aviation.

At the same time, the Operations Center is a responsible link in case of emergency situations in the field of civil aviation, the main task of which is

• timely notification of the leadership of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan;
• activating the AAK emergency plan;
• in addition, the Operations Center, if necessary, has the opportunity to launch the hotline.

Since the creation of the Operation Center, the Call center has been activated 6 times. In some cases, the work of the Call center was carried out on a round-the-clock basis.
