JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" is an organization in charge of technical control and oversight over the safety and security of civil aviation.

In accordance with international best practices, the Company implements tasks to ensure flight safety in a systematic manner. Since its inception, JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" has worked with international experts to transition to the European model of safety regulation, attracting top-tier foreign specialists and establishing close cooperation with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Kazakhstan meets ICAO standards in 82 percent of cases. The company has successfully completed international audits such as the ICAO Validation Mission (ICVM), a technical visit by European Commission experts, and a visit by Transportation Security Administration experts (TSA).

Kazakhstan was the first CIS country to declare full compliance with the Global Runway Surface Format (GRF) standards. The Kazakhstan Aviation Administration successfully completed this process in November 2021.

Kazakhstan is building new airports and terminals, and passenger traffic is increasing. Air Astana, SCAT, FlyArystan, Qazaq Air, Zhetysu, Zhezkazgan Air, and Southern Sky currently operate scheduled commercial flights in the country.

To strengthen international cooperation, Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan signed an agreement with ECAC on Kazakhstan's participation as an observer, as well as cooperation in aviation safety, accident investigation, flight safety, and environmental protection.

To ensure safe flying conditions for our citizens, the Kazakhstani Aviation Administration collaborates with all aviation stakeholders, including the Civil Aviation Committee of MIID RK, industry partners, economic development institutes, and academia.
