Due to the growing number of advertisements for sightseeing flights on social media, the Civil Aviation Committee and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan remind passengers of the need to comply with safety requirements, Kazinform reports.
Amid the increase in promotional offers for sightseeing (excursion) flights conducted by light and ultralight aircraft, as well as balloons, the Civil Aviation Committee and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan emphasize the importance of adhering to flight safety requirements.
In order to protect the life and health of citizens, passengers are advised to verify the availability of the following documents before the flight:
-
Authorizations — a valid Air Operator Certificate and Operations Specifications issued by the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan in accordance with established procedures;
-
Airworthiness — a valid Certificate of Airworthiness for the aircraft;
-
Crew qualification — a pilot holding a valid license of the appropriate category and qualification;
-
Insurance — a valid compulsory third-party liability insurance agreement covering passengers.
The Civil Aviation Committee and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan stress that a pre-flight passenger briefing is mandatory. Flights are also not recommended in adverse weather conditions (strong winds, low cloud ceiling, precipitation).
Compliance with these measures will help minimize risks and ensure flight safety.
