The Civil Aviation Authority of Kazakhstan (AAK) reviewed key issues related to the facilitation of formalities in international air transport.
In particular, plans include integrating electronic identity documents with electronic boarding passes.
During the meeting, the Authority also discussed measures to improve the quality of passenger service.
“Kazakh airlines presented proposals for further joint consideration. Among the plans is the integration of electronic identity documents with electronic boarding passes,” the Ministry of Transport reported.
Special attention was also given to improving aircraft inspection procedures, developing the regulatory framework, and enhancing the transit potential of airports. In addition, plans include addressing the temporary accommodation of individuals denied entry.
“The Civil Aviation Authority of Kazakhstan will continue to coordinate interagency cooperation to enhance the efficiency, safety, and quality of international air transport,” the statement said.
