President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and South Korean Prime Minister Han Seong-sook reviewed projects for the development of Alatau Smart City.

The presentation covered the key areas of Alatau City’s development, including the creation of modern infrastructure, an investment-friendly environment, the introduction of digital technologies, and the development of new forms of urban mobility.

Particular attention was paid to the practical involvement of Korean partners in the project. Joint initiatives with KIND, KAIST and Korea Airports Corporation were presented in areas including the development of K-Smart Town, educational and R&D infrastructure, urban air mobility, as well as the use of digital modeling and artificial intelligence technologies.

The presentation also featured a UAM/UTM urban air mobility management system involving the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and air taxis.

The Alatau City project is designed as an open international platform bringing together urban development, education and research, industry and logistics, digital technologies, and investment cooperation.
