The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is continuously working to expand the geography of flights and increase frequencies on existing routes.
Thus, starting from April 18 of this year, the Kazakh airline SCAT has launched regular flights on the Aktau–Yerevan route with a frequency of two flights per week (Tuesdays and Saturdays), operated by Boeing 737 aircraft.
In addition, from April 20, 2026, the Armenian airline Shirak Avia has commenced regular flights on the Astana–Yerevan route with a frequency of one flight per week (Mondays), also operated by Boeing 737 aircraft.
The launch of these new air services is expected to further promote trade, economic, business, and tourism cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Armenia.
